Responsibilities
Establish and maintain strong quality system from supplier parts, through manufacturing process, to the final customer
Manage Supplier activities to improve parts quality level
Manage cross-functional initiatives to improve overall vehicle quality level
Set and maintain part and vehicle quality standards
Develop strategies for and manage model change activities and Hoshin projects
Daily supplier part and completed vehicle problem solving
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work well independently and in a team environment
Strong problem solving skills with ability to combine theory and practical hands-on approach
Travel - 5% for Mass Production & 80% for 3 month periods during New Model Development
Preferences
Bachelor's Degree in ME, IE, EE
Automotive technical experience, such as automotive manufacturing (i.e. injection molding, welding, tool & die, etc.) and/or automotive product design
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and to include the ability to create, manipulate, and analyze large amounts of data)
Supplier interaction or supplier relations experience
Experience as an engineer or specialist in a quality or manufacturing area
Project management experience (to include developing, leading, prioritizing work, meeting milestones, gaining consensus, and reporting out status of project skills)Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
